DEMO Day April 2023 Save the date!
In the weekend of 22 and 23 of April we will host DEMO days in Sittard with a workshop of hosted by VP Don Rahrig from UST-ESSX from the USA
Learn how poles are manufactured. How is a pole actually tested after it has been made in the factory?Is a flex number really that reliable? Or should we start working with something else?
Our DEMO event is about inclusivity and community-building for the pole vault and our brand, we urge our visitors to subsribe and pay a small fee to ensure our club is able to make sure enough preperations. Included in the price is Lunch, drinks, ESSX poles usage and of course the workshop.

Don Rahrig is Vice President of Engineering and Development at UST Mamiya. He has over 40 years of experience in the engineering of sporting goods with 25 years specifically focused on composite tubes used in applications which include golf shafts, arrows for archery and pool cues to name a few. In 2012 UST Mamiya purchased ESSX Vaulting Poles. With the input from world class pole vaulters, Don used innovation and advanced composite materials to re-design ESSX poles. The end result has been enhanced performance for all levels of vaulters. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University.
